Fans have taken to social media to remember the late actor Sridevi on her birth anniversary today. The 'Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari' actress was found dead in her bathtub, in Dubai, on February 24, 2018.
As far as the fans of Indian cinema are concerned, Sridevi is a name that well and truly needs no introduction at all. She was held in high regard because of her elegant screen presence, mesmerising screen presence, powerful dialogue delivery and remarkable range as an actor.She also worked with some of the top heroes of her time, right from Sr NTR and ANR to Chiranjeevi and Nagarjuna, and proved her mettle.

Sridevi was born on August 13, 1963, in Meenampatti, Tamil Nadu. Hailing from a Tamil family, she played her first lead role in MA Thirumugam’s 1969 mythological Tamil film Thunaivan and added a new dimension to her life. In the following years, she went on to act in several classics such as Sadma, Kshana Kshanam, Nagina, Aakali Rajyam, Padaharella Vayasu and Vasantha Kokila, to name a few.
