Telangana CM Ranjith Reddy (Sharath Lohithaswa) and AP CM Rayudu (Ajay Purkar) are former friends caught a tussle due to their children falling in love and eloping. Businessman Rudrakanti Ramakrishna Raju (Srikanth) admits to crimes he did not commit so his daughter Parineeta (Saiee Manjrekar) is left unharmed. A political science student (Ram Pothineni) keeps pulling the leg of his classmate (Sreeleela) seemingly not knowing the truth about her.

If you've seen any of Boyapati's previous work, you know how this is gonna go. The first half is riddled with odd comedy, some of which spoofs political analysts, loads of action and punch dialogues, extremely loud BGM and numbers like Nee Chuttu Chuttu and Cult Mama that don't add anything to the story, courtesy Thaman S. The interval has a twist you might see coming from a mile away, because it's so trademark Boyapati. An overdose of testosterone and women being nothing but pawns for revenge or negotiation marks the first half of Skanda. It remains to be seen if the second half will be any different.
