’, which is based on the novel of the same name written by Chetan Bhagat, has been shelved due to creative differences between director

Venkat Reddy Kuncham

and producer

MLV Satyanarayana

of the film.

According to the reports, the tussle happened due to MLV Satyanarayana’s interference in the core plot of the movie and planning to replace its director Venkat Reddy with some other director. Venkat Reddy filed a petition in court regarding the same. The majority of the shoot has been completed and the makers have kept the project on hold until the current situation changes.

While Adivi Sesh is playing the main lead, Priya Chowdary, Priyadarshi Pulikonda, Rahul Ramakrishna, Vidyullekha Raman, Hema and among others are essaying key roles in the film. Said to be the remake of Hindi film of the same name, ‘2 States’ has been bankrolled by MLV Satyanarayana under Lakshya Productions banner.
