Siddharth, who shot to fame with several hit films like 'Bommarillu', and 'Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana', will be seen in the next Tamil-Telugu action romance titled 'Takkar'. Divyansha plays the female lead in the film, written and directed by Karthik G Krish.
'Takkar' is jointly produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and Abhishek Agarwal in Tollywood and the film is all set to release in theatres on June 9, revealed the makers.
The teaser of 'Takkar', two songs from the film, 'Kayyale', and 'Pedhavulu Veedi Maunam' was composed by Nivas K Prasanna and it opened to good responses. 'Takkar' is said to take us through the highs and lows in the relationship between a poor boy and a rich girl. While the guy is a hard-core romantic person, and the girl despite liking him, doesn’t believe in the idea of love and marriage.
Siddharth, with a french beard, will be seen in a new look in the film while the lead actress Divyansha is a familiar face in Tollywood with films such as /Majili', 'Ramarao on Duty' to name a few. 'Takkar' is said to revamp Siddharth’s image as an action hero and unveil a new dimension in him as an actor. The action-romance will be out in theatres in Tamil and Telugu on June 9.
Abhimanyu Singh, Yogi Babu, Munishkanth, RJ Vigneshkanth and others play other important roles in the film. Vanchinathan Murugesan cranks the camera and GA Gowtham is the editor.
