Sharing the first-look, Shiva who made his debut with Choosi Choodangaane wrote, “Meet Ali & Zara! This is a very special film to me. Touted to be a ‘real-life drama’ Gamanam also sees Shriya Saran in the lead role and Nithya Menen in a cameo. Both their first-looks received good response from movie buffs. Writer Sai Madhav Burra has penned the dialogues for the film which sees music by Ilaiyaraaja. Gnana Shekar VS is the cinematographer of the film, apart from producing it in collaboration with Ramesh Karutoori and Venki Pushadapu.

Shooting for Gamanam was wrapped up before lockdown and post-production works are underway. Further details are awaited.
