The upcoming film romance comedy-drama film 'Manamey', starring Sharwanand and Krithi Shetty, has cleared its final stage before hitting the big screens. The movie recently received a U/A certificate from the censor board, for its release on June 7th.
Directed by Sriram Adittya, 'Manamey' promises to be a film for the entire family. In the trailer released by the makers, the leads Sharwanand and Krithi Shetty are seen going through the challenges of parenthood. The toddler's role is played by Vikram Adittya, who is the son of the director.
Speaking to the media recently, the director expressed his confidence in the film's appeal across generations. "Manamey is a great film for all age groups," he said as per a Cinema Express report. "Show it to your parents, they will really love it. This film is truly special."
Sharwanand portrays a carefree young man whose life takes an unexpected turn when he finds himself responsible for a small child. This newfound responsibility not only challenges him but also influences his relationship with his partner, played by Krithi Shetty. The characters seem to be present in London, where they meet each other due to a child.
The romance drama film also includes Seerat Kapoor, Ayesha Khan, Vennela Kishore, Rahul Ramakrishna, Rahul Ravindran, and Shiva, among others in the supporting roles.
