Sharmiela Mandre and her girl gang up the hotness quotient on Maldives Beach

Thanks to its scenic beauty, ultra-luxurious resorts, white sand beaches, clear blue water and aquatic adventures, Maldives has become the go-to destination for Indian celebrities in recent years. Confined to their living spaces during lockdown, a string of actresses from both Bollywood and South cinema have jetted off to the archipelago in Unlock 4 and soaked under the sun in those beautiful beaches. After Kajal Aggarwal, Disha Patani, Katrina Kaif, Vedhika, Rakul Preet Singh, Tara Sutaria and Shanvi Srivastava, the latest divas to join the bandwagon are Sharmiela Mandre and her girl gang, Nicole Faria and Shifa Jowhar.

Along with her besties Nicole Faria and Shifa Jowhar, popular South actress Sharmiela Mandre flew to the island nation of Maldives earlier this week and has been steaming up the cyberspace since then by sharing drool-worthy pictures. The 31-year-old actress who works predominately in Kannada cinema made her Tollywood debut opposite Allari Naresh in the 2013 film ‘Kevvu Keka’ and currently has a series of interesting projects lined up. She also turned into a producer for her latest film Dasara in which she will play an investigative journalist.

In April, Sharmiela and her friend sustained injuries after the car in which they were travelling crashed into a pillar of the railway underbridge in Bengaluru. Both the occupants in the luxury vehicle sought medical attention at a nearby private hospital and left after taking first aid, saying they would approach their family doctors for further treatment. In early September, the actress revealed that she and her family members have tested for the coronavirus with mild symptoms. Thankfully, she recovered under home quarantine.

During a recent interview with cinema express, Sharmiela Mandre said that she does films out of passion and never for the monetary part of it, and there has been no compulsion to do a film. She hails from a family of popular producers and distributors who have been the pillars of the Kannada film industry for many years. Besides Kannada, she acted in a Tamil and Telugu film.

Former Miss Earth winner and popular model Nicole Faria can be seen flaunting her toned figure and washboard abs in a hot monokini. She and Sharmiela Mandre happen to be childhood buddies and they often travel to exotic places for fun-filled holidays. After her fruitful journey in the beauty pageant, Nicole was flooded with modelling assignments, advertisements and TV commercials. In 2014, she made her Bollywood debut with ‘Yaariyan’ directed by Divya Khosla Kumar and played a pivotal role in Katti Batti. She was last seen in the Turkish film Bir Baba Hindu.

After getting engaged to boyfriend Rohan Powar in July 2018, Nicole Faria tied the knot in early 2020 at Coorg. The celebration was nestled in the heart of the jungle and Nicole’s father officiated the fairytale wedding.
