, daddy’s little daughter will be seen playing a crucial role in the film. The little munchkin will be seen as Prince Bharata whom our proud nation derives its name as "Bharath" in 'Shaakuntalam.'

Sharing the announcement, the makers have also released a picture of Allu Arha. Gunasekhar can be seen holding Arha in his hands in the picture. 'Pushpa' star Allu Arjun, the father of Allu Arha is a proud father now. Sharing his excitement for his daughter’s debut, he wrote, ''A proud moment for the Allu family to announce that the fourth generation, #AlluArha will be making her debut with #Shakuntalam movie. I want to thank @Gunasekhar1 garu & @neelima_guna garu for giving my daughter this beautiful movie as her debut.''

Allu Arjun has also shared his work experience with Samantha Akkineni with whom he shared screen space in Trivikram Srinivas directorial film 'S/0 Satyamurthy' as Allu Arha will be working with Samantha in 'Shakuntalam.' He has also extended his best wishes to the team. He wrote, ''I had an altogether different journey with @Samanthaprabhu2 and am happy to watch Arha debut with her movie. Neelima Guna, the daughter of Gunasekhar is one of the producers of the film. She is proud to introduce Allu Arha through their film. Speaking of the film, 'Shakuntalam' is a mythological drama based on a popular Indian play Shakuntala by Kalidasa. The film features Samantha Akkineni in the titular role of Shakuntala and Dev Mohan as Dushyanta, the king of Puru Dynasty along with Aditi Balan and Mohan Babu in crucial roles. The music for the movie is being composed by Mani Sharma, while Sekhar V Joseph is handling the camera and Prawin Pudi is the editor.
