Dil Raju has surprised everyone by announcing a small-budget project with lesser known actors. Bankrolled by his home production, Sri Venkateswara Creations, the film has been titled ‘
Shaadi Mubarak
’ and the first look has been released on Wednesday. Starring ‘Mogali Rekulu’ fame
Sagar as the protagonist, the romantic comedy directed by debutante Padmasri has Mallu beauty
Drishya Raghunath in the leading lady’s role.
The first look poster shows Sagar and three versions of Drishya sitting on a bench in a park and judging by the looks of it, the film seems to be a romantic entertainer blended with comedy. Sunil Kashyap has been roped in to compose the music.

While Nivetha Thomas is stepping into the shoes of Taapsee Pannu, Anjali and Ananya Nagalla are reprising the roles of Kirti Kulhari and Andrea Tariang from the original Hindi film. Shruti Haasan is reportedly reprising the role of Vidya Balan from the Tamil remake of Pink titled as ‘Nerkonda Paarvai’.
Dil Raju got hitched to Tejaswini on May 10 amid a close group of family members and friends at the famous Venkateswara Temple in Narsingpally. Daughter Hanshita Reddy supervised all the formalities of her dad’s second marriage which happened amid lockdown restrictions.
