After acquiring the much-needed success with ‘Fidaa’ last year, versatile filmmaker
Sekhar Kammula has confirmed his next project with
Asian Cinemas
a couple of months ago. Touted to be a youthful entertainer set against a
Telangana backdrop, the pre-production work of the untitled flick is currently underway and Sekhar has recently wrapped up the casting part.
Featuring all newcomers like most of his films, it’s reportedly heard that the ‘Leader’ director has roped in
Amritha Aiyer as the
female lead
. The beautiful starlet has made her celluloid debut this year with the
Tamil
film ‘Padai Veeran’ followed by Vijay Anthony’s ‘Kaali’. She also signed a Kannada movie recently.
It’s speculated that Amritha Aiyer has impressed Sekhar Kammula in her first audition itself. Details regarding the cast and crew are still awaited.
