Seerat Kapoor, who has made a name for herself by starring in films like Run Raja Run, Raju Gari Gadhi 2 and more, revealed recently that she’s more drawn to rom-coms as an actor than any other genre.
“I can connect to them by nature because I feel moved by the emotions and depths of sentiments explored,” says the actress, who will soon be seen in Krishna and His Leela and Maa Vintha Gaadha Vinuma.
In talks, Seerat also reminisces about her childhood crush. “We were young and innocent in grade seventh when we experienced the first tickles of love. Our idea of love was sharing home-cooked tiffin in lunch break and helping each other with assignments,” she says fondly, with a smile.
The actress explains how the mere presence of each other was good enough for them. “We used to go to tuition together, embrace the joy of true friendship and just the presence of each other. Even today, I and my tiny group of school friends often find ourselves reminiscing about childhood, it was one of the most beautiful phases of my life,” she adds. Seerat even has a takeaway from it all, “As I reflect back today, it still teaches me that love is something as modest as valuing the existence of each other.”
