directorial. ''Brahmastra'' is a trilogy. The first part of trilogy revolves around a youngster Shiva essayed by Ranbir Kapoor who finds the fire within him, decides to find the weapon named Brahmastra. This is the first time that the audience will see Nagarjuna in the role of an archaeologist.

The star-studded pan-India film had gone on floors in February 2018. Apart from the lead cast, the movie also features Dimple Kapadia, Prateik Babbar, Divyenndu, Vishal Karwal, Saurav Gurjar, Rashi Mal and Shah Rukh Khan in crucial roles. Amitabh Bachchan will be seen playing the role of Brahma while Alia Bhatt will essay the role of Isha. Mouni Roy plays Damyanti in the film. Pritam is on board to compose the tunes and Sudeep Chatterjee, Patrick Duroux, Pankaj Kumar, Manikandan, Vikash Nowlakha, Santhana Krishnan and Ravichandran for cinematography with Akiv Ali, Manik Dawar and A Sreekar Prasad roped in for editing.
