Second schedule of Kamal Haasan’s Bharateeyudu 2 set to kick-off in Andhra Pradesh

Earlier this year, the sequel to the 1996 blockbuster Bharateeyudu was officially launched in Chennai with a pooja ceremony. While legendary actor Kamal Haasan and popular filmmaker Shankar Shanmugam are reprising their respective roles as the protagonist and director, a queue of current generation stars like Rakul Preet Singh, Kajal Aggarwal, and Siddharth are roped to essay pivotal roles.
Titled as Indian 2 in Tamil and Bharateeyudu 2 in Telugu, the first schedule of the big-budget project was recently wrapped up in Chennai.Few scenes involving Kamal Haasan, Rakul Preet and Siddharth have been shot and reportedly, a fight sequence was also part of the schedule.
According to reliable sources, the second schedule of Bharateeyudu 2 is all set to kick-off in Andhra Pradesh pretty soon and reports say that it involves a high-octane action sequence. The stunts in the film will be choreographed by national award-winning stuntman Peter Hein.
While the story of Indian 2 will revolve around corruption and politics, there are a lot of CGI scenes in it. Bankrolled by Lyca Productions, the music of the sequel will be composed by Anirudh Ravichander. At present, Kamal is busy with his Bigg Boss commitments.
