On Monday,
'Sarkaru Vaari Paata' trailer
was dropped on the internet, and the video has been receiving a lot of love from fans. The trailer has been loved by the audience and garnered millions of views on social media. Apart from the lead cast, the film also stars Samuthirakani, Vennela Kishore, Subbaraju, Mahesh Manjrekar, Sowmya Menon, Posani Krishna Murali, Ravi Prakash, Nadhiya, Tanikella Bharani, Ajay, Satyam Rajesh and Brahmaji in key roles.'Acharya' starring Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan was released on April 29 this year, and the film tanked at the box office. The film with an outdated and uneven narration was rejected by the audience. The box office performance of the film, which premiered in 2000 screens, came as a shock to Chiranjeevi. There are some very strong reasons why the Chiranjeevi-starrer Acharya could not be successful.

The main reason behind Acharya’s failure is lack of promotions. The film could not be properly taken into the masses in terms of promotions. About any movie, the film’s team has to be able to create hype a few days before the release. But that didn’t happen. It’s a known fact the fact that the movie did not have enough in it to match up to its pre-release hype and thereby disappointing a few movie goers and critics.

Another reason here is the ticket prices. Many people did not watch this movie due to the increase in ticket price. If the ticket price had been lower, there would have been some football increased for the theatres. For the unversed, the Andhra and Telangana governments permitted a hike in ticket prices for the movie. The governments have agreed to hike the prices for 'Acharya', and fix special ticket pricings, which will be applicable for ten days from the movie's release date.

Returns are more likely to come if a movie budget is under control. If a movie budget is high, the profits will be very low. Sometimes, there will also be losses. Acharya was made with a budget of Rs 140 crores. However, the film failed to impress and did very, very badly, and managed to rake in over Rs 55 crore so far. Because the stakes were high, the budget of the film was naturally higher than your typical Tollywood film. Even Chiranjeevi’s ardent fans couldn’t save the film.

In 'Acharya', Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan played Naxalites who set out to clean up corruption in a temple town. We have watched enough movies on the similar concepts, and they just don't evoke the same response. There is so much action on the screen but very little happens in every scene. Acharya is an underwhelming affair that has nothing new to offer.

The execution of Acharya is extremely dated and annoyingly shabby. Just to suit a twist in the tale, random scenes are included. None of the characters have any depth. The CGI is sloppy, and the dialogues are outdated. This action drama fails to grasp viewers’ fancy due to its jarred screenplay and clichéd scenes. Unnecessary romantic angle and equally unnecessary songs are also bid disadvantage for Acharya. The audience will be left irritated with the slow-paced narration and the poorly written script.
