'Saripodhaa Sanivaaram' to have a lengthy run time

Actor Nani is gearing up for the release of his film 'Saripodhaa Sanivaaram' which is set to release in theatres on August 29. Directed by Vivek Athreya, the film is an action drama and it features Nani, Priyanka Arul Mohan and SJ Suryah in lead roles and the movir is certified U/A by the censor board.

Sharing a quirky video on social media, the movie makers confirmed that thet had earlier planned to release the movie with a pefect runtime of 2 hours 35 minutes, but now following the promotions, they have made into a lengthy view with 2 hours 50 minutes. In the video the actors are seen giving one liners about the film as SJ Suryah saus "plus 15 mins', and Nani announces it’s an “action film”, Priyanka Arul Mohan chips in: “With a love story.”

The makers revealed that the film demanded an extra 15 mintue to fit in the cute love story inbetween stunning action sequences. The movie has been made with a hugh budget of Rs 90 crore and it is the first film of Nani that is made with such a huge budget even surpassing SS Rajamouli's 'Eega'.

The film has Nani playing the lead who is a man with anger issues and how listening to his mom he hides his anger for an entire week and breaks his rage only on Saturday. Priyanka Arul Mohan plays the role of Charulatha, a cop who is also Nani's love interest in the film and SJ Suryah is the antagonist. The movie is also releasing in Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi with the title 'Surya Saturday'.
