“Virus is an earnest attempt to showcase the other side of social media in an intense way. The movie will show Sampoornesh in a different avatar. His character consists of several shades and will have his trademark comedy as its USP. Also, the movie is a mix of genres including satire and would have a few spooky moments as well,” he says.
Krishna added that it’s high time for us to think about how social media is invading our privacy. “Many women have been subjected to harassment through offensive
videos circulated on social media. The film is based on the story of a young woman, who runs an education trust and how she falls prey to the ills of social media. All the characters are based on real life,” said the director.
