Samantha Ruth Prabhu's 'Yashoda' to release in theatres on this date

Actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s much-awaited movie 'Yashoda' has finally got a release date. There was an official announcement by the makers on Tuesday regarding the release of the movie. The movie will hit the screens on August 12, 2022.
Announcing the news, the makers tweeted, ''August 12th it is!! Our #Yashoda aka @Samanthaprabhu2 is all set to give you thrills n chills in theatres.A @krishnasivalenk’s production.’’

Samantha will be performing some difficult stunts in 'Yashoda' and Yannick Ben, a Hollywood stuntman, has been brought in to train and choreograph stunts for the actress. Samantha had earlier worked with Yannick Ben for the popular web series 'The Family Man 2'. Touted to be a thriller, Yashoda is being bankrolled by Sivalenka Krishna Prasad under his home banner Sridevi Movies. It was reported that art director Ashok Koralath has worked day and night with around 200 people for three months, to erect the set for 'Yashoda'.
Directed by debutant director duo Hari – Harish, 'Yashoda' stars Samantha in the lead role, while Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Murli Sharma, Unni Mukundan, Sampath Raj, Rao Ramesh, Shatru, Divya Sripada, Kalpika Ganesh, Priyanka Sharma and Praveen Dacharam will be seen in key roles. The technical team also included cinematographer M Sukumar and editor Marthand K Venkatesh. Melody Brahma Mani Sharma has been roped in to compose music for this flick. The makers of 'Yashoda' aim to release it in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi and Kannada simultaneously.
