Samantha Ruth Prabhu reminisces 3 years for 'Majili' by sharing the poster of her ex-husband Akkineni Naga Chaitanya

Marking three years of the blockbuster movie 'Majili', actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu, recently reminisced about the film by sharing the poster that features her ex-husband Akkineni Naga Chaitanya on her Instagram stories.
The Shiva Nirvana directorial, which was produced by Sahu Garapati and Harish Peddi under Shine Screens banner, is a 2019 romantic sports drama that featured Akkineni Naga Chaitanya and Samantha in the lead roles, with Divyansha Kaushik, Subbaraju, Rao Ramesh, Atul Kulkarni, Ananya Agarwal, Posani Krishna Murali, Ravi Prakash and Suhas in supporting roles.The technical crew of this family entertainer includes Gopi Sunder for music and S Thaman for background score, Vishnu Sharma for cinematography and Prawin Pudi for editing.

The film narrates the story of a former cricket player named Poorna Chandra Rao, who nurses his wounds from a failed relationship, takes up the task of training his ex-lover's daughter and in the process realizes his feelings towards his wife and her unrequited love for him. The couple ensured their off-screen closeness translated to on-screen magic. Fans and critics were bowled over by the screen presence of the film’s leads. 'Majili' was the first film that the duo worked on together after their marriage and the last film before they decided to go their separate ways. The parting of the ways came after a series of disagreements between Naga Chaitanya and Samantha. They met on the set of 'Ye Maya Chesave' in 2010 and then got married in 2017. They have worked together in 'Oh Baby', 'Manam' and 'Autonagar Surya'.
