Samantha Ruth Prabhu blissfully kickstarted the New Year 2025. The actress shared a glimpse of her celebrations on Instagram, where she was seen lighting a candle inside a beautifully illuminated church. Although she did not reveal her face in the post, she wore a stylish grey overcoat and had her hair tied back in a ponytail.

She shared the post on her Instagram stories and captioned it with "Day 1, 2025" expressing her peaceful state of mind as she embraced the new year.

Earlier, Samantha had shared moments from her holiday season, which included relaxing at home and enjoying quiet moments of rest. Her posts shared the importance of taking time for oneself amidst the hustle and bustle of life. As she posted it with the caption, "Maybe it’s fine to just sit and stare. Maybe the hustle can wait for a while. Maybe all you need in a busy world is the quiet of a simple life. Maybe having no plan is part of the plan…To wander, to wonder, just because you can."

Samantha over the past year faced a couple of personal challenges, including her battle with myositis. Despite these struggles, she has remained resilient and focused on her health and career. She made her comeback in the web series, 'Citadel: Honey Bunny' after working in 2023 'Kushi' which could not make a mark at the box office.

On the professional front, Samantha has an exciting lineup of projects ahead. She is set to star in 'Rakt Brahmand', an action drama series alongside Aditya Roy Kapur. The series will also include Wamiqa Gabbi and Ali Fazal.

Samantha will also be working in films, with her upcoming project 'Bangaram', where she plays a fierce character. This film also marks her debut as a producer.
