Samantha Ruth Prabhu heaps praise on Priyanka Chopra as a "Great role model for girls"

Samantha Ruth Prabhu has been praised for the latest web series of the 'Citadel' franchise, titled 'Citadel: Honey Bunny', where she stars alongside Varun Dhawan. Directed by the acclaimed duo Raj & DK, this spy series is an interconnected story. The 'Khusi' actress recently shared her thoughts on her co-star Priyanka Chopra, praising her as a "great role model for girls."

During the Business Today's Most Powerful Women event, she spoke how Priyanka inspires women to think big and pursue their dreams. She noted that working with Raj & DK has been a rewarding experience, as they are known for their unique filmmaking style that challenges actors and allows them to showcase their talents fully. Samantha mentioned that being part of their projects feels like an actor's dream come true.

She said "I think Priyanka Chopra is a great role model for us girls, and she really teaches us to think big. It was really nice to catch up with these girls who are powerhouses. They have done incredible work on their own Citadel shows".

She also called about the innovative concept behind the 'Citadel' series, which spans multiple countries, including the US, Italy, India, and Mexico. She expressed her enthusiasm for being part of a global spy universe while staying rooted in her own country.

Despite facing health challenges that initially made her hesitant to join 'Citadel: Honey Bunny', Samantha ultimately took the opportunity. She acknowledged that working with Raj & DK comes with its challenges but also expressed gratitude for the growth opportunities they provide.

After 'Citadel', Samantha is set to collaborate with Raj & DK again on another project titled 'Rakt Bramhand' reportedly starring Aditya Roy Kapur.
