Majili’ is gearing up for a massive release on April 5. While the first look posters struck the right chord with netizens, the video clips and song promos have garnered a huge response from all quarters with glowing praises to the crackling chemistry between Chay and Sam.
The adorable couple has already kick-started the promotional formalities for
Majili
and they have been revealing some interesting secrets about their relationship. One particular thing that caught everyone’s attention in the teaser was Chaitanya’s passionate
kiss
to newbie
Divyansha Kaushik.
When asked about the same scene during a recent interview, Samantha said “People have to understand that Chay and I have an amazing relationship, amazing friendship and an amazing marriage. There is a line between what is acting and what is real. For me, a kiss or hug is the same thing when I'm acting. That's something I really want to tell the fans that it's the same rule for both of us. I'm married and he's married too. The differences don't make sense.”
The 31-year-old daughter-in-law of the Akkineni household faced a similar situation in 2018 when her kissing scene with
Ram Charan in
Rangasthalam
was blown out of proportion.
Besides penning the story and dialogues,
Shiva Nirvana
of ‘Ninnu Kori’ fame has directed ‘Majili’.
