Sai Dharam Tej's ''Republic'' teaser is hard-hitting and thought-provoking

After getting a fabulous response from the audience for the first look, the makers of ''Republic'' have now unveiled the first teaser of the movie. Directed by Deva Katta, the film will see Sai Dharam Tej essaying an IAS officer.
In the teaser, Sai Dharam Tej is heard saying some really disturbing things related to the socio-political situation in the country where the civil servants are ruled by the corrupted politicians.The poster of the movie, which was released a few days back, had Sai Dharam Tej’s face with the sentence ‘We are all living under the illusion there is governance, but we are yet to discover it!’ written in it. The teaser has been well-received by audiences, and at the time of writing, was trending on YouTube.

''Republic'' is produced by JB Entertainments and is slated to release on June 4, 2021. Tipped to be a political thriller, the film also stars Aishwarya Rajesh, Jagapathi Babu, Ramya Krishna, Subbaraju, Rahul Ramakrishna and Sai Dheena in pivotal roles. The Deva Katta directorial has music by Mani Sharma. The technical team comprises M Sukumar for cinematography, Srikanth Ramisetty for art direction and Praveen KL as the editor.
