Tollywood actor Sai Dharam Tej revisited the memory of his dreadful bike accident that occurred in September 2021. He described it as the toughest period of his life, enduring severe injuries that rendered him bedridden for several months. Recalling his bike accident, Sai Dharam Tej expressed gratitude towards his family for standing by him and ensuring the release of his movie Republic while he was hospitalized. According to the actor, his family provided unwavering support and took charge of promoting the film. Ram Charan unveiled the first look, Chiranjeevi garu launched the trailer, Pawan Kalyan attended the pre-release event, and Allu Arjun showed his support by tweeting about the film's release. Sai Dharam Tej expressed his heartfelt appreciation and acknowledged that he could not have asked for more.

During a recent event, Sai Dharam Tej became emotional as he recounted his severe bike accident that occurred in September 2021. He began by expressing his affection for his mother and his brother Viashnav Tej. Sai Dharam Tej was involved in a road accident on September 10 at approximately 7:30 PM, resulting in soft tissue injuries and a collarbone fracture after his sports bike skidded and fell down at the cable bridge in Hyderabad. His family, including his mega family, visited him frequently during his one-month hospital stay and celebrated his return.


Currently, Sai Dharam Tej is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film 'Virupaksha', which marks his comeback to the big screen following a year-long break. His previous film, Republic, was released on October 1, 2021. 'Virupaksha' is the first pan-Indian movie featuring Sai Dharam Tej, and it is scheduled to release on April 21, 2023, in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi. The female lead in the movie is Samyukta Menon of Sir fame, and it is directed by Karthik Varma Dandu. The film also features Jr NTR lending his voice.
