’. Made on a shoestring budget of around Rs 2 crore, the romantic thriller has amassed a share of over Rs 10 crore during its terrific run at the domestic box-office. To cash in Kartikeya’s craze, his long-delayed film ‘
Supari
’ is finally up for release. The makers announced that the emerging star has played a pivotal role in their movie and his dubbing part has also been done.
But surprisingly, Kartikeya took to
twitter to claim that he is not a part of ‘Supari’. He wrote “This is fake. Its not my movie.It was supposed to be DEMO shoot for a movie which the director said would start soon but never started .Now shots of that demo are used for some other movie and being picturised as if i acted in it.I request them to stop this nonsense”.
Responding to the 25-year-old allegations, the producer of the film stated that it’s unfair to disown his film just because of the sudden stardom attained. On the flip side, Kartikeya has recently signed a Tamil-Telugu film which is directed by TN Krishna and bankrolled by popular producer
