RJ Balaji reveals that he relates to Dhanush's character and wants him to star in his biopic!

RJ Balaji, actor and director, is gearing up for his next Tamil film, 'Singapore Saloon'. Directed by Gokul, the film is releasing in theaters today, January 25. In a recent conversation with movie critic Bharadwaj Rangan for the YouTube channel Galatta Plus, the actor expressed that if any day there was a biopic made about him, he wanted actor Dhanush to play the lead.

The actor said that Dhanuch's probability of acceptance is very high, and people like him for his acting, and added that he is not that type of 'hero' (commercial hero) on screen. RJ Balaji said that he stands by his point and will not have the need to research.

RJ Balaji added that he considers himself an ordinary boy today and his relevance to students when he goes to attend events in colleges. He said that he likes being connected with students and that Dhanush is one person who will also relate to youngsters.

RJ Balaji noted that he can only see Dhanush first when mentioning a biopic to be made on him and said that their characters are similar and relatable. Speaking about Dhanush's films 'VIP' and 'Thiruchitrambalam', RJ Balaji said that his roles are very realistic and relatable to any young man out there.

The 'Singapore Story revolves around a local barber who inspires a young man to become a hairstylist. The cast of the film includes RJ Balaji, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Ann Sheetal, Kishen Das, and Sathyaraj in important roles. Director Lokesh Kanagaraj plays a cameo in the film.
