Ritu Varma shot into limelight with the short film Anukokunda in 2012, and forayed into Tollywood with films like Prema Ishq Kadhal and Baadshah. Set to step into Kollywood soon, the Hyderabadi girl has signed another 'interesting' Tamil film. 'I am loving the experience of working here. My first film, Kalaiyarasan-starrer China is going on at a quick pace and I have signed director Abraham Prabhu's next to be produced by Eros International titled Pirai Thaediya Naatkal.
Ashok Selvan plays the lead role,' shares the actress who is working on her Tamil diction.
'Working in an alien language is not easy. But luckily, since I am well versed in Telugu, the task didn't prove to be tough because the languages have some similarities. But that was in the initial stages, now I am becoming very familiar with Tamil too,' she gushes.
Last seen in Yevade Subramanyam as Nani's fianc'e, Ritu says, 'I have not signed anything yet in Telugu though except for director Tharun Bhascker's first feature film tentatively titled Anukokunda (after the short film which was also directed by Tharun). The film is a love story and I am really looking forward to start work.'
