Ritu Varma plays Queen Rukmini Devi in her next titled 'Swag'

Actress Ritu Varma after the Tamil film 'Mark Antony' has now signed up for her next project in Telugu. Directed by Hasith Goli, the actress will be playing the female lead across Sree Vishnu in the film 'Swag'. Taking to social media on Sunday, the movie makers announced that Ritu Varma as the queen Rukmini Devi from Vinjamara Vamsham.

The music for the film is composed by Vivek Sagar and the technical crew of the movie consists of cinematographer Vedaraman Sankaranand editor Viplav Nyshadam.

The makers took to social media to launch the promo video of her intorduction as they celebrated her birthday.


Intoroducing Ritu Varma as Queen Gari Swag, who has emerged to etch the masculinity of men. The video portrays the hate that the queen has towards the men ego and how she thinks about destroying its existence. The actress also goes o nto say that she will pen the histpry of women this time.

On the work front, Ritu Varma is awaiting the release of her Tamil film 'Dhruva Natchathiram'. Directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon, the film stars Vikram in the lead role and the film is a long-delayed project waiitng to make it to the big screens for the past 5 years.
