‘Bhairava Geetha’ has succeeded in grabbing the attention of moviegoers with its bold posters and riveting promos. Set against the backdrop of
Rayalaseema
region, the film narrates the story of an aggressive henchman named Bhairava played by ‘Daali’
Dhananjaya, who falls in love with an upper-caste girl Geetha portrayed by
Irra Mor. Apart from the age-old plot, ‘Bhairava Geetha’ showcases the clash between the rich and the oppressed in a violent way.
While the story and screenplay are penned by maverick filmmaker
Ram Gopal Varma, the film is directed by his protégé
Siddhartha. Initially,
RGV
pledged to
release
the film on October 12 against Junior NTR’s ‘Aravindha Sametha’. But considering the stiff competition at the box-office, he backed off at the last moment and decided to come on November 22. Finally, the makers have officially announced that ‘Bhairava Geetha’ will hit the screens on November 30.
Bankrolled by Abhishek Nama and Bhasker Rassi, the raw & rustic film will also be dubbed and released in Tamil and Hindi. The theatrical
trailer
has already generated some good expectations on this action-drama.
