Music director MM Keeravani and director Ram Gopal Varma (RGV) let fans in on their years old camaraderie as they bantered with each other on Twitter. Keeravani called RGV a ‘pustakala purugu’ because of the voracious reader that he is. He also prodded to find out if he was still a ‘putakala purugu’ or had he become a ‘corona prurgu’ now. He also revealed that the director was a huge fan of the American novelist Stephen King.

Keeravani’s tweet read, “The @RGVzoomin I knew in 1988 was a Pusthakaala Purugu. Now he is busy analysing Corona purugu. Sir, are you still reading Stephen King ?” (sic) RGV too retorted in style saying, “No sir ,because real life seems more scary than anything Stephen King could ever fictionally write” (sic) Ram Gopal Varma’s 1991 blockbuster Kshana Kshanam’s music was composed by MM Keeravani and the two have shared a very close bond ever since.
