Resul Pookutty's new avataar

Oscar winner Resul Pookutty makes his debut in Kalavoor Ravikumar���������s ���������Father���������s Day��������� starring Lal, Revathi, Indu Thampi and newcomer Shehin
Scriptwriter and director Kalavoor Ravikumar is out with his second directorial movie, Father���������s Day, starring Lal, Revathi, Jagathy, Shankar Panikkar, Idavela Babu, KPAC Lalitha and Suresh Krishna.Miss Kerala 2010, Indu Thampi, will play the lead opposite Shehin.
The highlight of the movie would be Oscar winner Resul Pookutty who is making a guest appearance in the movie. Talking about the yet-to-be-felt-first-time-nervousness, Pookutty says, ���������Acting has always been my passion but in the movie I am making a guest appearance as myself so the nervousness to face the camera is not an issue.���������
Shehin and Indu will play a major role in the movie apart from Lal and Revathy. After playing a powerful role in Pennpattanam, Revathi is making her return to Mollywood. She will play the role of Seethalakshmi, an unmarried teacher. Today���������s most happening actor in Mollywood, Lal, plays the role of Madhan, Seethalakshmi���������s long lost friend. This is for the first time Lal and Revathi are pairing up on-screen.
The story revolves around the lives of five characters played by Revathi, Jagathy, Vijay Menon, Shankar, Suresh Krishna and Idavela Babu.
Kalavoor Ravikumar, scriptwriter of movies like Ishtam, Nammal, Manjupole Oru Penkutty, Swantham Lekhakan and Aagathan, is doing the story, screenplay, dialogue and direction in ���������Father���������s Day���������. He had recently made his directorial debut in Oridathoru Puzhayundu. ���������This is definitely going to be a different concept that the Malayalam film industry has not captured on celluloid,��������� says Ravikumar who is quite positive about the outcome of the movie. Arun Gopi and Binu Harippad would assist Ravikumar.
M G Sreekumar who has composed songs for over 16 Malayalam movies is the music composer for ���������Father's Day.��������� He would be accompanied by Sajiv Mangalath. They would compose music to the lyrics of O N V Kurup and B Sreerekha. Neeraj Gopal would score the background music for the movie.
Produced by J Bharath Samuel under the banner Bharath Creations, the first schedule of the shoot is dated for September26. ������������������Father���������s Day��������� is expected to be a 2012 release,��������� says Shehin.
