Renu Desai donates her hair to make wigs for cancer patients

Model and actress turned director and producer Renu Desai took to her social media to recently to debut her cool new look.
What makes it exciting is that she didn’t just chop her hair short; she did so to donate it to make wigs for cancer patients. This is the second time around she has done it, winning the hearts of fans. Sharing the pictures, she wrote, “The first pic - I cut/donated my hair the 2nd time to help make wigs for cancer patients who can’t afford them.Second pic - something I really wanted to do for a long time but didn’t have the motivation enough. I guess Corona has changed us in different ways.” (sic)

What’s more, Renu didn’t just cut her hair short, she also dyed it teal, something she has admittedly wanted to do since long. Sharing another picture of her new hair, she wrote, “His presence, wrapped in warm threads of pashmina, tip toed into her silences.” (sic) Recently, Renu had shared pictures from the first time she faced camera when she was just 16. 25 years ago on September 9, Renu first faced the camera.

Renu Desai recently shot for a TV promo and turned out to be one the first actresses to get back to work post lockdown. Reports suggest that the actress is going to start her directorial venture soon.
