Ravi Teja and
Sreeleela starrer Dhamaka, helmed by
Trinadha Rao Nakkina, hit the screens last Friday. The makers state that they were confident of the film’s success from day one. “This film is right down the alley for commercial cinema fans,” explains producer TG Vishwa Prasad, adding, “It has massy numbers and catchy dialogues that stay with you for a long time. Ravi Teja and Sreeleela too really hit it out of the park with this one, both with their energy and performances.
It’s all anyone can talk about!”
Vivek Kuchibhotla, who co-produced this film with him under People Media Factory, agrees. “We knew the film would run well in the single screens. However, the audience thronged multiplexes here and in the US too. We’ve had fantastic openings for the movie and we’re excited to see how it performs in the coming days. I personally believe the audience also loves one of the themes we explored in the film – the juxtaposition between how two people from different economic classes think,” he says.
Both Vishwa and Vivek are now waiting for movie buffs to see what they havein store next. “We have as many as 15 projects lined up, including ones for OTT. We are looking forward to more successes,” says Vivek, as Vishwa adds, “Phalana Abbayi Phalana Ammayi and Baanam will hit the screens soon. ”
