Rashmika Mandanna's nature retreat: Shares adorable clip feeding a peacock; Calls experience 'liberating'
Actress Rashmika Mandanna has been a part of back-to-back superhits, took a break from her hectic schedule and decided to spend some quiet time in nature. The 'Pushpa 2' actress shared a glimpse of her holiday, which included a delightful video where she is seen feeding a peacock.
Calling the experience "liberating," Rashmika talks about the simple joys of being close to the natural world. Sharing the clip on Instagram, the 'Animal' actress wrote, "It's so liberating to be so close to the nature sometimes.. highly highly suggest it!".
Interestingly, Rashmika also revealed that her feathered companion was quite demanding. The actress shared that the peacock woke her up several times during her vacation. "PS: He was waking me up at 5/6 in the morning in my holiday to feed him.. he was very very vocal...,” she added in her caption.
On the professional front, Rashmika is gearing up for her next big release, 'Thama'. The film marks her first collaboration with Ayushmann Khurrana. Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar of 'Muniya' fame, 'Thama' will be a unique love story set in a fictional world.
The recently unveiled teaser has Ayushmann's voiceover asking, "Reh paogi mere bina, sau saalon tak?” (Will you be able to live without me for the next 100 years?) to which Rashmika's character responds, "Sau saal kya, ek pal bhi ke liye bhi nahi." (I cannot live without you even for a single moment.)
The film centers around a historian, played by Ayushmann Khurrana, who explores vampirism in Indian mythology, spanning modern-day India and the ancient Vijayanagar kingdom.
The film also features Paresh Rawal and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in pivotal roles and is slated for a grand Diwali release worldwide.
She is also working on her upcoming films, including romance drama 'The Girlfriend' and 'Mysaa', which looks to be a drama thriller.
