Anu Emmanuel has turned a year old today and her ‘The Girlfriend’ co-star Rashmika Mandanna has wished the actress via her social media handle. The leading lady shared a behind-the-scenes picture from the sets celebrating Anu on her special day.

In the picture, both actors can be seen sitting down on the floor with crossed legs. They can be seen cheerfully exchanging thoughts or discussing a scene, as the camera captures them happily sitting together.

About ‘The Girlfriend’

Rashmika Mandanna plays the character Bhooma, while Anu Emmanuel plays Durga, in the 2025 romantic drama written and directed by Rahul Ravindran. The movie shows Rashmika Madanna in a relationship with a college hunk Vikram, who wows Bhooma. Earlie, which seems to be a romantic relationship, turned out to be a toxic and suffocating one. Meanwhile, Durga is also shown in a key role rather than a casual supporting character. She is described as the college diva who wants to be with Vikram.
