Rashmika Mandanna gets emotional at 'Pushpa 2' event

Rashmika Mandanna is currently promoting her upcoming mega film, 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' starring Allu Arjun and directed by Sukumar. The action thriller film has been one of the biggest sequels of the year and the makers have been promoting it with grand events in multiple places.

During a recent trailer launch event in Patna, Rashmika captured the audience's attention not only with her stunning maroon saree but also with an emotional moment that resonated with fans. In a close-up shot, she was seen getting teary-eyed.

Rashmika has invested nearly five years in the 'Pushpa' project. She described her life as being divided into two phases: before and after Pushpa. Her portrayal of Srivalli has garnered immense praise. Rashmika plays Srivalli, Pushpa's love interest and her role is expected to be pivotal in the storyline.

The 'Pushpa 2' promotions are being done in multiple locations, including Patna, Kolkata, Chennai, Kochi, Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Hyderabad.

In the upcoming film, Allu Arjun takes the role of Pushpa Raj, the boss of the illegal sandalwood smuggler. The film also features Fahadh Faasil as SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat, his nemesis.

The sequel is set to release on December 5, 2024, and will be available in several languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada and Bengali.

Meanwhile, Rashmika Mandanna has multiple mega projects in her pipeline. She will also star in 'Chhava', 'Sikandar', 'Kubera', 'The Girlfriend' and more on her plate.
