Rashmika Mandanna calls working with Salman Khan in 'Sikandar' a dream come true: "He’s so humble and down-to-earth"

Making her name at the top tier list of Indian actors, Rashmika Mandanna has been delivering impactful performances in her films. Whilst she enjoys her success with 'Pushpa 2: The Rule', the actress is shooting with Salman Khan for the massive commercial entertainer, 'Sikandar'. In a recent interview, she shared that her experience working with the 'Tiger' is a dream come true.

In an interview with India Today Digital, she shared that she was unwell while filming, and Salman went out of his way to ensure she was taken care of. He arranged for healthy food and warm water and showed genuine concern for her well-being. Rashmika expressed admiration for Salman, noting that despite being one of the biggest stars in India, he remains grounded and approachable.

She said, "He really takes care of you and makes you feel special. I mean, he’s one of the biggest stars in the country, but he’s so humble and down-to-earth. I am really excited about Sikandar. It’s going to be a very special film for me, and I can’t wait for my fans to watch it."

This project makes Rashmika's first commercial Bollywood film. 'Sikandar' allows her to embrace a more traditional heroine role.

Directed by AR Murugadoss, 'Sikandar' is set to be a mass entertainer, including songs shot against the festive backdrops of Eid and Holi. The film is scheduled for release during Eid 2025.

Alongside 'Sikandar', Rashmika will also appear in the historical drama 'Chhava', starring Vicky Kaushal, and is preparing to start shooting for the horror-comedy film 'Thama' with Ayushmann Khurrana.

Meanwhile, Rashmika Mandanna's latest film, 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' has been dominating the box office with big numbers worldwide. The film grossed over Rs 1000 crore in just seven days worldwide and around Rs 700 crore in India.
