Back in 2024, Rashmika attended the song launch of the 'Pushpa 2' track ‘Kissik’. At the event, she was asked about her relationship status. The actress was asked, “Would you marry someone from the film industry or should your husband be someone from outside the industry? If you give us some clarity, we’ll find out the boy."


Rashmika left the audience laughing with her reply, “Everyone knows about it." She added, “I know what answer you want, I know it well." She then said, “Let’s not delve into that right now, I’ll tell you later, personally." Many netizens at the time speculated she was talking about Vijay Deverakonda.

Rashmika Mandanna on qualities she values in partner

In a past interview with Cosmopolitan India, Mandanna had candidly discussed her thoughts on love and relationships. "My partner. I need my partner in every phase of my life. I need that comfort, security, and empathy," she said, talking about the kind of support she values in a relationship.

When it comes to her ideal partner, Rashmika Mandanna shared, "My most important thing in a relationship is definitely kindness, but also respect. When you mutually respect one another, genuinely care, and are responsible for one another... it all adds up."

Mandanna also added, "Being loving, empathetic, caring, having a good heart, and being truly genuine are the other traits I need, because this is what comes naturally to me. I want to be with someone who has similar qualities and if my partner doesn't have the same attachment style, we just won't get along."

Mandanna will next be seen in the horror-comedy 'Thamma', starring alongside Ayushmann Khurrana, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and Paresh Rawal. The film is scheduled to release in theatres during Diwali 2025. She also has Homi Adajania's 'Cocktail 2' with Kriti Sanon and Shahid Kapoor.

On the other hand Vijay Deverakonda was last seen in 'Kingdom' which earned around Rs 82 crore worldwide as per Sacnilk and is currently streaming online. He also has movie 'SVC59' is his pipeline.
