Rashmika Mandanna all praises for Keerthy Suresh’s Penguin

Keerthy Suresh-starrer and Eashvar Karthic’s directorial debut Penguin was released on an OTT platform earlier this month. The mystery thriller has received mixed reviews from the audience but Geetha Govindam star Rashmika Mandanna is all praises for the film and its cast and crew.
Rashmika took to her social media and had only good things to say about the film. Urging her fans to watch the film, she wrote, “Ahhh I was watching penguin last night and @keerthysureshofficial you were on point!!! Your performance was brilliant as always ♥️.Just like how Cyrus in the movie is ever protective of the family is beautiful. This is relatable to all the mothers I am sure. ♥️A special shoutout to @eashvar_karthic and @ksubbaraj sir 🙌Congratulations and all the very best to the whole cast and crew of penguin! ♥ Guys give it a watch” (sic)

It was announced in August 2019 that Keerthy Suresh will star in an untitled mystery thriller that is to be produced by Karthik Subbaraj. The principal photography for the film began in September and the film was made in both Tamil and Telugu. The title of the film was announced on October 17 which is leading lady Keerthy Suresh’s birthday. Madhampatty and Linga play pivotal roles in the film and the music has been composed by Santhosh Narayanan. The film was originally scheduled for a theatrical release but the national lockdown to tackle the novel coronavirus pandemic which has had theatres shut for more than three months changed the plans. The film was released on June 19 on a popular OTT platform.
