Sukumar’s ‘
Rangasthalam’ caught everyone’s attention right from the start, be it for
Ram Charan and
Samantha’s rustic looks or Devi Sri Prasad’s folksy music. Everything about the film seemed catchy, be it the characters’ names or the way Ram Charan’s partially deaf character Chittu Babu called himself the ‘sound engineer’ of his village. Set in the 1980s, the film charts the journey of Chitti Babu and the characters in his fictional village of ‘Rangasthalam’.
