He reportedly said that people today are ready to take Tollywood films even to Mars if they find someone living there.

The shooting for the film began on October 4, and actor Rana Daggubati has yet to start shooting for his parts in the movie. 'Thalaivar 170' marks the second film for Rana Daggubati in Tamil after 'Bangalore Naatkal'.
