These actresses have successfully played the antagonist in films

Heroines are the care of address to beauty. They grace the screens of theaters, making us fall in love with them. If such heroines get angry at once and if the good ones become a bit bad, what it would be like if all our heroines were flattered with Villainism? Unlike other characters, playing a villain is quite difficult and it takes a special kind of talent to be able to play such roles with believability. Only gifted actors can convincingly breathe life into such characters and there are some actors who simply better suited to play the villain onscreen. ​Ramya Krishnan

Ramya Krishnan has successfully played the antagonist on more than one occasion. It is not so easy to forget Ramya krishnan villanism in Rajinikanth starrer Narasimha. She remained in everyone's heart as Neelambari who loves Narasimha and demands him to marry her. She locks herself in a room for 18 years after Narasimha’s marriage with servant Vasundhara. Her heart burned with longing for revenge.

​Trisha Krishnan

Trisha Krishnan did a great job portraying the ultimate character transformation from a normal woman to a political criminal in Dharma Yogi. She falls in love with Kodi who wants to become a political leader stabs him as she feels that he was her obstacle. It goes without saying that the actress portrayed one of the most extravagant characters in cinema history just brilliantly.

​Reema Sen

Reema Sen has many accolades to her name. While some of her greatest performances have been as the leading lady, she’s likely best known for her villainous characters. Her performance in Simbu starrer Vallabha and Karthi starrer Yuganiki Okkadu was no less memorable. She was so realistic and it is definitely one worth talking about. She played a government officer Anitha who embarks on a journey in order to search for any existence of the prince of the Chola dynasty tries to kill very last Chola person.

Paayal Rajput is another actress who has received many accolades for her performance in her debut film RX 100. She showed off her early antagonist chops in RX 100, in which she played uninhibited and bold Indhu who lusts after village lad Shiva goes on to marry someone else as she is not sincere. She played the role that erupts with lust to perfection. The movie was amazing and she made her place in this film for sure.

​Varalaxmi Sarathkumar

Kollywood actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar made her Tollywood debut with the 2019 film Tenali Ramakrishna BA BL. She played the character with negative shades in the film and she managed to stay under the surface from the start till the climax of the movie. This is not the first time she essayed the baddie. The actress has appeared as a villain so many times on Tamil silver screen.
