Ramajogayya Sastry reveals deets about Thaman's music for Chiranjeevi's GodFather

Jayam Mohan Raja’s Chiranjeevi starrer GodFather is one of the most-awaited films from Tollywood this year.
The film is a remake of the Malayalam blockbuster Lucifer with the makers tweaking scenes to suit Chiranjeevi’s star image. Lyricist Ramajogayya Sastry revealed that music composition for the film is in progress by Thaman S. He also stated that it has turned out so well, he hopes the Megastar hears it soon.He wrote, “Thoroughly satisfying work..songs and re-recording bit songs..for #GodFather..బాస్ ఎప్పుడెప్పుడు వింటారా అన్నంత మంచి కంటెంట్ కుదిరింది (the music is so good, I hope Chiranjeevi hears it soon)...thanku dear thammudu @MusicThaman..your BGScore will standout..(sic)”

GodFather is slated for release on October 5 this year and will face-off Nagarjuna starrer The Ghost at the box office. The film will also see Nayanthara, Satyadev in the lead roles apart from Salman Khan, Puri Jagannadh and others in key roles. The makers recently revealed that a song was shot with Chiranjeevi and Salman who reprise Mohanlal and Prithviraj’s roles in the film. GodFather was launched in January 2021 and went on-floors in August that year. Filming took place in Hyderabad, Ooty and Mumbai.

Chiranjeevi will also be seen in Bholaa Shankar, remake of Vedalam, with Tamannaah Bhatia and Keerthy Suresh as his co-stars.
