Ram Pothineni says he wants to work with Ranbir Kapoor: 'I really admire him'

Tollywood star Ram Pothineni has openly expressed his admiration for Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor, revealing his desire to collaborate with him in the future.

During a recent press conference for his upcoming film, 'Double iSmart', Ram shared his thoughts on Ranbir, saying, 'There are many people I’d like to work with, but I really admire Ranbir Kapoor. He also portrayed Sanju, and there's a connection there.'

Ram's reference to 'Sanju' highlights Ranbir's highly praised performance as actor Sanjay Dutt in the biographical film 'Sanju', directed by Rajkumar Hirani. This role earned Ranbir widespread acclaim for his deep and intense portrayal. Interestingly, while Ranbir played Sanjay Dutt on screen, Ram Pothineni will be seen sharing the screen with the real Sanjay Dutt in 'Double iSmart'.

'Double iSmart' has recently received an A certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). Directed by Puri Jagannadh, the movie stars Ram Pothineni and Sanjay Dutt in the lead roles. The film is slated for release on August 15 and will be available in Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada, and Tamil.
