Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘Officer’ teaser: Cops were never this scary

The official teaser of Ram Gopal Varma’s much-anticipated film ‘Officer’ has released and it lives up to its hype. Set in Mumbai, the film revolves around a sincere police officer played by Akkineni Nagarjuna who fights against the rebellious to ruin the mafia.
The trailer packs a punch and is outlined with moments of a heightened action entertainer. With earnest performances like that of Nagarjuna and of course Prakash Raj, it is believed to be the biggest money-spinner like their first combo film ‘Shiva’ (1990).As per the teaser, Nagarjuna, who seems to have mastered in playing such roles, has made scenes memorable in the film.
Produced by RGV and Sudheer Chandra, the movie stars Myra Sareen as the leading lady. The film is slated to release on May 25 and is head-to-head with Nandamuri Kalyamram’s upcoming romantic entertainer ‘Naa Nuvve’. Interestingly, this is the third-time collaboration of Nagarjuna and Ram Gopal Varma after two decades
