Ram Gopal Varma took to his social handle on Sunday night and shared a video of himself lifting a dumbbell. Thrashing all the speculations in his own style, the 58-year-old director assured his well-wishes that he is absolutely fine and said ‘sorry to disappoint’ to those who were happy to hear about his
ill-health
.
Reacting to a report from a news portal which mentioned that the ‘Rangeela’ director is suffering from viral fever,

shared a video on his Twitter handle and captioned it as “In the wake of malicious rumours from some media outlets like one below, just wanted to clarify to whoever concerned that I am SUPER FIT”.
He said in the clip “Well, there are rumours that I have severe fever. Covid or not, I don’t know what people are thinking. The truth is, I am fit as hell. I am working non-stop, making very interesting films, and working out. So, whoever was happy that I was ill, I am sorry to disappoint you guys. Whoever kind of likes me maybe, I just want to convey my wishes and also explain that I am feeling super f***ing fine, okay?”
Meanwhile, on Sunday, Ram Gopal Varma unveiled the first look poster of his upcoming film Dangerous which will be released on his own OTT platform. Touted to be India’s first lesbian crime actioner, the film stars
Naina Ganguly and Apsara Rani in lead roles. According to RGV, “Dangerous will be the first in india to culturally elevate the stigma of LGBT after the honourable Supreme Court repealed section 377.”
Ever since the lockdown has come into implementation, the maverick filmmaker and controversy’s favourite child has been helming several short films for his OTT and they include Climax, Powerstar, Coronavirus, Thriller and Disha.
