Ram Gopal Varma aka RGV, well-known screenwriter and movie director known for some memorable films, turns 60 today. Though the filmmaker is not known to be joyful about his birthday celebrations, he was however seen celebrating at a Hyderabad pub with his movie team.
The birthday also had in attendance a few Tollywood celebs such as his former assistant and director Puri Jagandh and the latter's production partner
Charmme Kaur who were all seen gathering around a huge cake, wishing and celebrating RGV’s birthday.
On the work front, Ram Gopal Varma has made a film based on a lesbian relationship titled ‘Dangerous’ which is getting released in multiple languages under different titles. In Telugu, it will be released as ‘Maa Ishtam’. RGV is lately known for making controversial yet thought-provoking content that never fails to create a good buzz around his movies.
However, the same movie, which was supposed to release tomorrow, will reportedly be not coming in a few multiplexes as a few major multiplexes have banned his films due to its sensitive content, and RGV has reportedly postponed the film.
By now RGV has reportedly stated that he will fight with the management of those multiplexes legally to make sure they release his film.
‘Dangerous’ film stars Apsara Rani and Naina Ganguly who play the lead roles of women with bad experiences with men and subsequently fall in love with each other, and fight men to protect themselves.
