Ram Gopal Varma seems to draw undue attention with every film of his, with most of them hitting OTT during the pandemic. The director however recently announced that he will make a film called Murder on the Pranay case from Miryalaguda and a film that is based on heinous incidents that took place in the city, but titled Disha Encounter. Despite the parents’ protests, he kept claiming that both the films are fictional in nature. With his recent announcement Dangerous sensationalising and objectifying a sexual orientation that is already a taboo in India, it remains to be seen how this film will fare.
