Ram Charan was also one of the many who took to social media to wish him. VV Vinayak is close to the Mega family, directing many blockbusters with Mega heroes. He’s even prepping up to direct the Telugu remake of Malayalm hit Lucifer, starring
Chiranjeevi in the lead role. Sharing a picture with the director, the RRR star wrote, “Happy Birthday Vinayak garu!!! Keep spreading positivity like you always do.” (sic)
VV Vinayak directed Ram Charan too in 2012 for Nayak and the film was a commercial success. Chiru’s comeback film Khaidi No 150 was also directed by him and produced by Ram Charan. The film shatted many box office records when it released. Back in 2003, after scoring blockbusters like Aadi and Dil, the director got the opportunity to direct Chiru early on in his career for
Tagore
. Later, he went on to direct
Allu Arjun too for Bunny, yet another hit.
With Chiru and VV Vinayak teaming up again for the Lucifer remake, it remains to be seen if they can recreate the magic again.
