Ram Charan to hoist the Indian National Flag at Indian Film Festival Melbourne

Actor Ram Charan who just landed in Melbourne, Australia for the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IfFM) will be hoisting the Indian National Flag on August 17 at the Federation Square in Melbourne, Australia. Ram Charan who is honoured with the awrd as the Ambasaddor of Indian art and culture will be attending the IFFM from August 15 to August 25.


Taking to their official page on X on Friday, the IFFM welcomed the Tollywood star and announced that he will be at the flag hoisting ceremony. The post read, "Here's your one big chance to meet GLOBAL STAR RAM CHARAN at the FEDERATION SQUARE on August 17, 10 am as he hoists the INDIAN NATIONAL FLAG. The 15th edition of the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne is taking place from August 15-25"



Talking about receiving his honour, Ram Charan a couple of days back said, "I am deeply honoured to be part of the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne, celebrating the diversity and richness of Indian cinema on an international platform. It’s a privilege to represent our film industry and connect with fans and cinephiles worldwide."


The IFFM will be screening a few films that include the Tamil film 'Chithha' which was released in September 2023. It received a lot of acclaims and the film was praised by many and it won multiple awards. Along with 'Chithha' the Tamil films 'Starch' and 'Neela Nira Sooriyan' will also be screened at the film festival.
