Ram Charan tests positive for coronavirus, under home-quarantine

Actor Ram Charan announced on Tuesday that he has tested positive for Covid-19 but is currently showing no symptoms.
The RRR star requested everyone who has been in contact with him the last few days to get tested immediately. He shared a note on social media that reads, “I have tested positive for Covid-19. No Symptoms & Quarantined at home. Hope to heal soon and come out stronger.” (sic) He added, “Request all that have been around me in the past couple of days to get tested.More updates on my recovery soon.” (sic)

Fans and celebs alike left comments wishing him a speedy recovery from the virus. On the work-front, Ram Charan has been shooting for SS Rajamouli’s RRR with Jr NTR and Alia Bhatt. He will be seen in a character inspired by Alluri Sitarama Raju while Jr NTR will be seen in one inspired by Komaram Bheem. The periodic drama has sky-high expectations pinned on it as it’s Rajamouli’s next film after the magnum opus Baahubali. Olivia Morris, Ajay Devgn and Shriya Saran also play key roles in the film.
Recently, the Mega family was in the news for hosting a Christmas party at Ram Charan’s house by his wife Upasana Konidela. Actors like Allu Arjun, Sai Dharam Tej, Varun Tej, Niharika Konidela and others were also present at the party, along with his father Chiranjeevi. Niharika and Chaitanya JV recently tied the knot and are currently honeymooning in Maldives. Chiranjeevi is shooting for Acharya while Allu Arjun is shooting for Pushpa.
